Hi! I'm Emily Mumola, and I am a storyteller.
I spent college working as videographer and producer while studying journalism and creative writing. Although those may sound vastly different, I find that having both creative and formal storytelling skills has helped me create unique, high-quality content for any subject.
I grew up in Maryland, outside Washington, D.C., and now attend Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. I also spent over two years living in Canberra, Australia, which taught me how to adapt to any situation and learn from new cultures.
I've primarily worked as a student video producer with LSU Athletics since September 2020. I've created content for social media and in-venue use across a variety of sports, from game highlights to event recaps to videoboards and everything in between.
I also spent the summer of 2022 working with Monumental Sports & Entertainment, owners of the Wizards, Capitals, and Mystics. My internship furthered all of these skills while providing experience with different workflows.
